Senior Sydnie Cobb has been named one of the Top 20 young leaders in the state of Georgia by the organization 21st Century Leaders, with which she has been involved for over two years. Sydnie was selected for her achievements and leadership, such as earning the Girl Scouts' Gold Award by raising $6,500 to provide hygiene products to girls in Kasungu, Malawi, so they would not have to miss school due to health issues. Sydnie is SGA President, a two-time state finalist for National History Day, a paid copy editor for Georgia State's newspaper and an invitee to CARE's Global Conversation Dinner.

Sydnie and the other winners will be honored Feb. 24 at an awards gala at the College Football Hall of Fame.
