Reading Bowl

MISSION: The mission of Reading Bowl is to support students in their preparation for in the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl competition.
VISION: "To foster a love of reading in the children of Georgia, and to introduce them to books of literary excellence." (from the HRRB website)
Reading Bowl practice will be held Fridays from 3:15 to 4:30. Students must leave campus at the end of practice.
Reading Bowl Code of Conduct:
Anyone interested in joining Reading Bowl (freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior) needs to email Prof. Custar as soon as possible -- the by-laws and requirements for the club necessitate early and regular attendance.
Senior cords available for students who meet the following requirements:
- Must be an active member for two years
- Must miss fewer than two meetings per school year
- Must abide by the Code of Conduct
- Must pay $35 dues by November 1st to cover DECA's entry fee, meeting snacks, senior cords, and DECA Reading Bowl t-shirt.
